COLT MODEL 1851 LONDON NAVY REVOLVER. Cal. 36 Perc. 7-1/2” oct. bbl marked “Address. Colt, London” on top bbl flat. Iron frame, triggerguard and backstrap. SN 28863 all matching. 1-pc English walnut grips. London proof marks on bbl and cylinder. CONDITION: Very good, with strong cylinder scene (two or three surface scratches from malfunctioning hand spring), sharp edges, strong deep markings. Triggerguard screw is broken, grips show only light wear. Entire gun has no original finish and is covered with fresh surface rust. Minor peppery pitting appears here and there.
