GALLE ENAMELED VASE.

Galle vase has center enameled scene of large building next to a stream with trees surrounding. Building, trees and pond are done in shades of gray against a vertically ribbed clear glass body. Vase is further decorated with heavily enameled flowers on each side along with a blue, white and yellow butterfly on back. Signed on underside in red enamel “E. Galle Nancy”. SIZE: 5-1/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent, with a small chip on underside bordering polished pontil and a few tiny flea bites on bottom edge of foot. 49774-37 (2,000-3,000) – Lot 1526
