LONDON CASED M1849 COLT. SN 7620, all matching. 4” bbl with 2-line London address, iron straps, large triggerguard, almost deluxe grained walnut grips in the original walnut London case for a 5” bbl pistol. The velvet lining worn only by this “PATENT” blued steel mold, combination nipple wrench screwdriver, a tin of 250 “ELEY COLTS PT”, caps with green and black label, a correct bag flask marked only “PATENT”, and an unopened cartridge packet made by Am’r Powder Co. CONDITION: All original. A crisp unused specimen that’s suffered by careless storage. Bbl flaked to about 25% blue, cylinder with about perfect scene flaked to about 35% blue. Lever, hammer and frame with 95% bright case colored finish with very slight spotty age staining. Crisp straps with strong traces of the original silver plate. Excellent, plus varnished grips. Case about excellent including the deep blue velvet lining. Mold with 30-40% glossy bright blue, lots of flaking and small hammering marks and dents. Very fine blued nipple wrench, very fine flask with one fairly large but shallow dent near the collar, fine cap tin and cartridge packet. 4-46209 (4,500-5,500)
