Daum lamp is decorated on base and shade with green cameo and wheel-carved leaves and padded and wheel-carved red/orange berries of the Cornelian Cherry tree, set against a mottled acid-textured background of yellow speckled with brown shading to red. Shade is finished with carved martele decoration on dome. Shade is held by a forged metal hammered collar with four-arm stylized leaf design, base illuminated with single internal contemporary socket, shade with a single contemporary socket, finished with contemporary plastic cord. Shade signed on lower rim with carved “Daum Nancy” with Cross of Lorraine. Base signed on side of foot with carved “Daum Nancy France” with Cross of Lorraine and on underside “Made in France” in black enamel. SIZE: 15-3/4″ t. PROVENANCE: Rudd Collection, Chicago IL. CONDITION: Shade very good to excellent.
