Tune card states this is a “Guitare.Mandoline” playing eight tunes on a 13″ cylinder. Nice unrestored music box with brass & mother of pearl inlay on lid surrounded by burled veneer with string inlay border. Front & ends match lid. String inlay under lid with original tune card. Heavily cast handles on each side. SIZE: 22-1/2″ w x 8-1/2″ d x 6″ h. CONDITION: This box will need restoration; lid has a crack going almost full on bottom & about halfway across top; loose & missing veneer on back; and approx 34 tips missing from teeth. 1-13910 (500-1,000) – Lot 1523
