DESIRE CHRISTIAN HANDLED CAMEO VASE.

Desire Christian vase is decorated with cameo figure of a maiden in flowing dress squeezing grapes into a coupe with cameo grape leaves, vines and clusters adorning the sides and back of the vase, all against a burgundy and cream background. The lower portion of the vase is decorated with detailed cameo Queen Anne’s lace and other flowers and foliage. The tall slender flaring neck of the vase is finished in a light martele. Vase is completed with two applied clear glass handles with light green cameo grape leaves, vines and clusters. Inscribed below the maiden “La Vigne”. Signed on the underside with etched signature “D. Christian Meisenthal Loth” with heavy martele on the entire underside of foot. SIZE: 13-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: Rudd Collection, Chicago IL.
