SN 71855. Cal. 12 Ga. 30″ bbls. 3″ chambers. Choked: IMP MOD/IMP MOD. Full matted low profile ventilated rib with “certifiable pre-ban ivory” mid-bead and synthetic front sight. Gold plated single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety. Stock configuration if FKLT with 14-9/16″ LOP over slightly compressed Browning white lined waffle pad. Trap forend. Receiver is beautifully engraved in game scene, signed by “L. Vrancken” on both sides of receiver. Left side with Setter and duck in marsh scene surrounded by scroll, right side with Pointer and pheasant in woods scene surrounded by scroll. Bottom of frame nicely scroll engraved with two birds surrounded by scroll. Trigger guard bow and forearm nicely scroll engraved. Buttstock finely checkered with 3-point checkering, as is forearm. Buttstock is a pretty piece of fiddle back walnut. Weight: 8 lb 2 oz. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Robert Burg. Special Note: This item contains or is made of ivory. This information is located in the front section of our catalog. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbl retains 95-98% of what appears to be factory orig blue, though could be an older rust blued restoration. Chambers having been lengthened. Buttstock and forend retain nearly all of their restored high gloss finish, checkering is sharp. Near invisible repair at left side of forearm at frame and minute stock separation behind frame on bottom of left side, which does not in any way detract from this gun.
