THREE EXPORT PORCELAIN BOWLS WITH TIN GLAZED CHARGER.

China, 18th century. The lot comprised of three Export porcelain bowls handpainted in various patterns including Famille Rose and Imari examples. Together with a European tin glazed charger painted in a Chinese Export style. Accompanied by three wood stands. SIZE: Bowls between 9″ and 6-3/4″ dia. Charger 12″ dia. PROVENANCE: Downeast Maine home, descendant of Knud Rasmussen, famous Danish arctic explorer whose “greatest achievement” was the massive Fifth Thule Expedition (1921–1924) being sold unreserved. CONDITION: Imari bowl with restoration. Smallest bowl with line on rim. Charger with glaze loss. 51323-24 (600-800) – Lot 1517
