GROUP OF 10 STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER TEAWARES.

1) 19th century England. Teapot with floral decoration, impressed mark Union. 2) Dark blue Staffordshire teapot with bird in nest patter, marked under glaze Stone China. 3) Dark blue Staffordshire transfer two handled sugar bowl with swan. 4) Dark blue Staffordshire floral and bird decorated creamer, impressed mark Wood. 5-10) Six Staffordshire handleless cups in various floral and scenic patterns. SIZE: 1) 5-1/2″ h. 2) 6-1/2″ h. 3) 6″ h. 4) 6″ h. 5-10) 3-1/2″ dia. PROVENANCE: From a Maine collection. CONDITION: 1) Small chip on spout, large crack radiating 3/4 around and across the base, lid very good. 2) considerable high spot glaze loss, crack radiating from top edge across bottom with crow foot hairline on side, other chips and restored unrelated lid. 3) Restoration to ridge under lid, minor hairlines, interior discoloration, restored and possible unrelated finial. 4) Very good, with a few tiny glaze chips around top edge and handle. 5-10) All with minor damage, chips and hairlines. 9-94546 (700-900) – Lot 1515
