CASED COLT MODEL 1861 NAVY REVOLVER. SN 9741, all matching, including wedge. Cal. .36, 7-1/2″ round bbl. In an American case with powder flask, bullet mold, Eley cap tin, screwdriver/nipple wrench, packet of cartridges and key. CONDITION: Fine. 50% blue on the bbl, slightly battered around the wedge and very thin on the left side. Traces of blue on the cylinder which still has a sharp scene. Bright case-hardening colors on the lower part of the frame, mostly faded with light pitting on the recoil shield. Loading lever is blue and is possibly a replacement. Backstrap and triggerguard have faint traces of silver and are battered at the bottom. Ivory grips have numerous natural cracks around the bottom but are still solid. Exterior of the case is refinished in a reddish color. Interior lining at the lid is badly rusted from a previous gun with a torn area around the hammer. Bbl address roll die has been used on the back inside of the case. Cartridge packet is very dirty but still sealed. Slant/spout flask appears to have been chemically cleaned and is open along much of the bottom seam. Mold has half the blue. Key works the lock. 4-47161 FS530 (5,000-8,000)
