1) 19th century. Flow blue covered vegetable tureen, marked under glaze “Hong Kong” impressed mark Improved Stone China. 2) 20th century. Staffordshire transfer decorated plate “Home of Washington Mount Vernon”, with eagle mark made in England. 3) Dark blue Staffordshire plate oriental scene with pagoda, impressed Wood on reverse, with pearl glaze. 4) Dark blue Staffordshire transfer “R. Hal’s, Picturesque Scenery, Llanarth Court, Monmouthshire”. 5) Historic dark blue Staffordshire plate “Batalha Portugal”. 6&7) Two flow blue cup plates, oriental pattern, with impressed mark. 8&9) Two flow blue plates “temple” pattern, made by P.W. and Co. 10) Oriental export fruit bowl with cherry blossom decoration. SIZE: 1) 10-1/4″ dia. 2) 10-1/4″ dia. 3) 10-1/2″ dia. 4) 10″ dia. 5) 8″ dia. 6&7) 4″ dia. 8&9) 8″ dia. 10) 8-1/2″ dia. PROVENANCE: From a Maine collection. CONDITION: 1) Lid very good, base with large re-glued and poorly restored chip and two hairlines. 2) Very good. 3) Very good with minor darkening and few scratches. 4) Minor edge chip and some knife scratches. 5) 4″ crack radiating from center to edge, some wear and darkening. 6&7) One very good with minor crazing, one with edge chips. 8&9) Minor crazing and slight discoloration. 10) Very good. 9-94545 (500-700) – Lot 1514
