Rookwood vase is decorated with a harbor scene of sailing ships encircling the center of the vase with a silhouette of a city in the background. All set against a light pink sky shading to blue. Signed on the underside with Rookwood flame mark dating it to 1921. The vase is also impressed “951D V”. Vase is also stamped with artist initials within a circle “CS” for Charles Schmidt. SIZE: 9-3/8″ t. CONDITION: Crazing to glaze, otherwise very good to excellent. 1101-3 (2,000-2,500) – Lot 1510
