SMITH BROTHERS CHEWING GUM PENNY DROP MACHINE.

Ordinarily these oak penny drop machines are no big deal. This particular example has a stylized marque on top where the coin is dropped though a series of cascading nails. On either side of the interior of machine there are two cards approx 3″ x 5″. One indicating Smith Brothers Chewing Gum, Baltimore, Maryland and the other indicating a new chewing gum machine, “drop one cent in slot”. The oak finish is very fine and original and the cash drawer below the pins in intact including separate chambers indicating gum, one, two, or five. SIZE: Approx 14-1/2″ x 9″ x 20-1/2″ t.
