SN 5725A. Cal. 7.65 Para. 4″ 30 cal. bbl with small crown “N” proof on bottom. Imperial proof on breech block. “DWM” scroll on center toggle link. Small crown “N” proofs on right receiver and frame rail. Numbers on gun are matching down to the firing pin and matching numbered checkered walnut grips. No stock lug. Plain wood bottom magazine. This gun was rebarreled to 9 mm after WWI. Military proofs on left receiver were removed and replaced by SN. Gun was refurbished and crown “N” proofs were added for commercial sale. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Excellent. Retaining 97% 1920s era blue and straw. Minor corrosion in some areas. There is a scratch on side plate. Grips are lightly worn with beautiful wood grain. Magazine has very little wear. Bore is bright and sharp. Mechanics are very fine. 49829-73 BWS (1,000-2,000) C&R – Lot 1508
