SN 4736. Cal. 9mm. 6″ Navy bbl with orig numbers fairly visible below Navy Crown/M proof and “GERMANY” export mark on bottom. Blank toggle (DWM removed during post-war rework). 100/200 meter adjustable Navy rear sight. “GERMANY” export marked on center toggle link and left frame. Full SN added on right receiver matches some parts. Orig SN on front of frame matches some other small parts. Navy Crown/M proofs on left receiver. Imperial proofs on left receiver and bbl. “GESICHERT” safety mark in up position. Checkered walnut grips do not match either SN. Grip safety. “GERMANY” marked wood bottom magazine with numbers that do not match. DWM second issue Navy was reworked with military and replacement parts for commercial sale in the 20’s. Totally correct in this configuration for the period. CONDITION: Very fine 20s era retailer finish, retaining 97% blue and straw with normal wear on sharp edges and corners and a few scattered spots of corrosion. Grips are lightly worn with visible wood grain. Bore is sharp with light frosting. Magazine has light normal wear. Mechanics are fine. 51028-17 BWS (2,000-3,000) C&R – Lot 1507
