*◊ FINE CASED LUGER 1908 COMMERCIAL WITH BOLIVIAN CREST.

SN 52346. Cal. 9mm. 4″ bbl with “BUG” proofs and full SN on bottom. Bolivian crest that appears to be contemporary above the chamber. “DWM” scroll on center toggle link. “BU” proofs on breech block and left receiver. No hold open. “P-701” stamped inside front frame well. “CARGADO” marked extractor. “SEGURO” marked safety. Numbered on gun are matching including checkered walnut grips that have been numbered to match. Plain wood bottom mag, with 2 WWI era numbered mags, and a cleaning rod/oiler in a fitted black pebble grained case with brass fittings and leather handle. A green cabochon surrounded by gold embossing on top of lid. Case bottom and fitted interior are green felt. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Fine, 95% blue and straw with contemporary touch-up on several areas. Grips are worn and oil soaked. Bore is bright and sharp. Mag has minor nicks and dings on bottom. Extra mags have light corrosion on bodies and one of the wood bottoms is cracked. Cleaning rod/oiler is excellent. Interior felt is worn on edges and corners and there are minor oil stains from pistol and accessories. Case exterior leather is scuffed on edges with appropriate wear for age.
