*JOHN M. OLIN’S PERSONAL WINCHESTER MODEL 12 HEAVY DUCK GUN. Cal. 12ga. Standard grade gun with 32″ solid rib 3″ Magnum bbl, small round ribbed forearm, uncheckered weighted buttstock with solid red Winchester pad. Right side of buttstock at the buttplate, is pantographed “JOHN M OLIN”. Accompanied by a Buffalo Bill Historical letter dated February 2 1990 indicating that this shotgun had been the personal property of Mr. Olin and was sold from the museum to raise funds to build the new wing. It is also accompanied by an Olin Corp. Factory Order transferring a list of shotguns to the museum including this Model 12. SN 807914. CONDITION: Excellent.
