REGENCY YEW CENTER TABLE.

Late 18th, early 19th century, England. The circular top with conforming green leather inset with impressed gilt floral border all within Birdseye cross banded edge. The apron fitted with four drawers alternating with rectangular panels, all with Birdseye figural surface, joined to and rotating on a ring turned cylindrical standard supported by down-swept tripod base terminating in brass capped casters. SIZE: 29-1/2″ h X 33-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Original leather top with 2 -3/8″ round scrapes and other minor blemishes- table structurally good with early replaced hardware. 9-96809 (1,500-2,500) – Lot 1495
