HANDEL METAL OVERLAY TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has square shade with brightly colored sunset glass. Skirt of the shade is also made up of 4 panels of sunset glass with metal overlay trees surrounding the skirt and painted green tree silhouettes in the background. Shade is signed with applied brass tag “Handel”. Shade rests on a Handel base with 4 flaring feet and a band of art nouveau design surrounding the shoulder. Base is completed with a 2 socket cluster and 4 arm spider. Unsigned. SIZE: Shade 14″ sq. Lamp 21-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Shade has old solder repair to 2 inside corners otherwise very good. Base spider and socket cluster do not appear to be original to this base, some blistering and discoloration to the finish on the base. 49696-1 (2,000-4,000) – Lot 1492
