QUEEN ANNE MAHOGANY TRIPLE TOP CARD TABLE WITH CARVED TRIFED FEET.

18th century, Ireland. Having a triple mahogany top with bold porringer corners, inward curving drawer centered with shell carved element, boldly curving cabriole legs with shell carved knees terminating in foliate and scroll carved trifed feet. Leaves held up by swing-out back legs, flip top revealing one smooth mahogany surface and one carved with recesses for drinks and game pieces. Drawer interior retains old label “Robert Strahan & Co. Cabinet Makers and Upolsterers, Dublin, Ireland”. SIZE: 18″ x 34″ x 31″ h. CONDITION: Very good overall with good old if not original finish, small age crack in veneer and a tiny loss to veneer near swing-out leg. 9-94840 (6,000-9,000) – Lot 1489
