COLLINS SIDE KNIFE. 11-1/2″ flat blade with the standard “COLLINS & CO/HARTFORD” half moon marking on the left ricasso. Grip is turned wood. Leather scabbard has a brass tip. CONDITION: Fine overall with light file marks and scattered light pitting on the otherwise bright blade. Hilt shows wear to the brown paint finish. Scabbard is solid with some flaking on the frog and some verdigris at the tip. Leather is oil-soaked. FS778 4-47564 (500-1,000)
