*FACTORY ENGRAVED REISING PISTOL, MOTHER-OF-PEARL GRIPS.SN 11396. Cal. 22. Beautiful factory engraved standard configuration Reising pistol with 6.75″ bbl having a pinned bead front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. The left side of the chamber is marked “The Reising MFG Corp./New York, N.Y. USA” with the top of the chamber marked “.22 LONG RIFLE CTG.” The right side of the chamber is marked with patent references that are dated 1916 and 1921. The full SN is vertically marked on the front strap. Beautiful scroll engraving covers approximately 70% of the surface including the front and backstraps and the heads of all screws. Personalized with a Social Security number under forward frame. Smooth mother-of-pearl grips. Orig dual tone mag with three indicator slots on right side marked “5/10” with personalization extending to base of mag around factory markings “Reising 22”. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: At least 95% factory blue with rub marks around the bbl band, minor sharp edge wear, and slight thinning on front and backstrap, particularly at the heel.
