Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre octagonal bowl is decorated on the exterior with the Woodland Elves VI- ‘Fiddler in Tree’ pattern depicting copper brown tree trunks with bright green leaves with fairies and elves scattered throughout,with two playing fiddles while hanging from overhead branches, all with gilded highlights and set against a dark blue and mother-of-pearl lustre background. Interior of bowl decorated with Ship and Mermaid pattern having eight black columns supporting crimson arches at each corner of the bowl, with castle, sailing ship and fairies with gilded accents set against a light green mother-of-pearl sky background.
