HANDEL REVERSE PAINTED TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has domed shade with a decorative floral border surrounding bottom with pink flowers and buds surrounded by shaded green leaves. Flying and resting among the flowers are brightly colored exotic birds with blue, orange and green plumage. All set against a black background. Thin black and orange lines run vertically from the decorative band to the aperture against a yellow background. Exterior of shade is finished in chipped ice. Signed on interior edge “Handel 6930”. Shade rests on a Handel base with round stepped foot and turned column stem. Base is complete with 3 socket cluster and fleur-de-lis cap. Finished in a light bronze tone. Unsigned. SIZE: Shade 17-3/4″ dia. Base 23″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good with some oxidation to black paint at bottom rim. Base has crack where riser meets stem, otherwise very good.
