HANDEL FLORAL TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has dome shaped shade that is obverse painted with wild flowers surrounding the entire shade. Flowers are done in pink, blue and yellow with brown, green and gray leaves extending from bottom to top of shade against an acid textured white background. Signed inside rim “Handel 6931”. Shade rests on a Handel base with vertically ribbed foot and stem. Base has a 3 socket cluster and heat cap with square cutouts. Signed on the underside with impressed block letters “Handel”. Shade pictured in the book Handel Lamps by DeFalco, Hibel & Hibel, pg. 11 in a 1922 advertisement for House Beautiful. SIZE: Shade 17-7/8″ dia. Lamp 23″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent.
