EXCEPTIONAL CIVIL WAR REMINGTON NEW MODEL ARMY PERCUSSION REVOLVER.

SN 101576. Cal. 44. Among the most popular side arms of the American military during the Civil War, this government inspected Army revolver is in like new condition, apparently never fired, retaining virtually all of its orig finish with crisp bright bore, retaining orig bluing in each chamber. CONDITION: Extremely fine plus. Bright factory blue is 95%+ with a couple of areas of pitting, one on side of front face of cyl & one on backstrap. Hammer retains good case colors. Gun has crisp markings including 3-line bbl address & fine well fit grips with bright inspector cartouche. Sub-inspector initials are stamped on most every part.
