HANDEL VENETIAN HARBOR TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has reverse painted dome shade depicting a Venetian harbor scene with boats in the harbor at full sail showing colorful orange, green, purple and white sails against an evening sky with full moon above. Exterior of shade has chipped ice finish. Signed on interior rim “Handel 5935”. Shade rests on a Handel figural base with a Mermaid rising out of water, holding a large clam on her shoulder which gives way to vertically ribbed riser with 3 socket cluster and square cutout cap. Base is finished in dark brown with green highlights. Signed on the underside with applied tag “Handel”. SIZE: Shade 17-7/8″ dia. Lamp 23″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent.
