*◊ VERY FINE MODEL 1906 REPUBLIC OF PORTUGUESE NAVY LUGER.

SN 524. Cal. 9mm. 4″ bbl with blue finish overall. 2-pc walnut stocks with straw finish on levers, trigger and ejector. Has “R.P.” over anchor on chamber and “DWM” in script on toggle. Extractor is marked “CARREGADA”. Pattern 1906 grip safety and manufactured without stock lug. Number 524 of the approximate 1000 produced. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Exceptional overall, with most all blue finish remaining with good bore and mechanics. Excellent checkered walnut grips. This gun is extremely interesting as it is void of any proof marks that can found. All sub-inspector markings are inside but have yet to find a proof mark.
