LOT OF THREE EARLY NOAH’S ARKS WITH ANIMALS.

1 & 2) Larger and smaller versions of 19th century German hand painted Noah’s Arks featuring wonderful hand carved and painted animals. Larger ark has stenciled and hand painted highlights and features apx. 18 figures. Smaller ark has paper on wood litho and 11 figures. 3) A smaller, unusual Japanese styled ark with overlay of woven bamboo and other colored reeds. This third ark features 17 fabulous, tiny carved animals averaging less than one inch long. All arks today represent a folk art, child-like quality worthy of year round decor. SIZE: Largest 21″ l.
