BAROQUE STYLE DUTCH TALL CASE CLOCK.

18th century. Holland. Signed “Gerrit storm/ Amsterdam” within chapter ring. The figured and burl walnut case with arched bonnet top surmounted by 3 mythological figural finials over the reticulated frieze. The arched door flanked by flattened columns with Corinthian capitals opening to weight driven brass movement with time and strike apertures beneath moon phase dial. The case with molded astragal arch door above the Bombay base raised on carved paw feet. SIZE: 104″ h x 14″ d. Throat width 13″.
