Please Note: Upon closer examination, we noted the following: 1) The base of the glass has been drilled. 2) There is an inscribed “o4500” in the polished pontil, and the style is “seaweed”, not Peacock as cataloged. (See Louis C. Tiffany Collection: The Garden Museum Collection” by Alastair Duncan, page 238. 3) The metal work is a combination of Tiffany parts and other parts.

TIFFANY FAVRILE GLASS PEACOCK FEATHER LAMP BASE.

Tiffany lamp base has blue iridescent Favrile glass body with stylized peacock feathers surrounding. The blue iridescence shows strong flashes of pink, green, and gold. The base is finished with a bronze cap, riser, and 3-socket cluster. Signed on underside “L.C.T. Favrile”. SIZE: 20-1/2″ to top of shade ring. PROVENANCE: From a Los Angeles, CA Collection. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor wear and discoloration to patina on bronze. 51812-20 (20,000-30,000) – Lot 1470
