CASED TRANTOR REVOLVER. SN 5464T. Cal. 45, 6-1/4″ oct. bbl marked “A. Clayton High St South Ampton”. In an English mahogany cased with green baize lining with paper “Alfred Clayton” label and containing a Dixon oil bottle, an Eley cap tin, a screwdriver with nipple pick in the handle, a nipple wrench, a bullet mold marked “54”, a cleaning rod and a tin of Trantor’s grease. CONDITION: 30% blue mixed with light to moderate pitting. Cylinder pin is broken. Grips are sharp. Action needs work. Case lid is split across the middle with the nameplate broken off and inside the case and has heavy mildew spotting. Interior is very dirty and much torn from the front sight, as the gun is too short to fit the blocking in this case. Tools are well used with some surface rust and pitting.
