TIFFANY STUDIOS/STEUBEN TABLE LAMP.

Lamp has Tiffany Studios bronze base with four vertically ribbed legs terminating in cat’s paw feet which rest on a round bronze platform with beaded trim. Legs support the bullet shaped body of the base which is completed with a 3-arm spider and single socket. The base is finished in a light brown patina and signed on underside “Tiffany Studios New York 23563″ along with the Tiffany Glass & Decorating Co. logo. The base supports a Steuben brown Aurene dome shaped shade with applied Intarsia border with entwined brown and cream colored bands against a gold iridescent background. Unsigned. Lamp includes a replacement pierced bronze cap. SIZE: Shade 10″ dia. Lamp 18” t. PROVENANCE: From a Los Angeles, CA Collection. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor wear and discoloration to patina on base. Rewired with appropriate cloth cord. 51812-11 (3,000-5,000) – Lot 1463
