*◊ BAVARIAN INFANTRY REGIMENT 1912 ERFURT LUGER WITH MATCHING MAGAZINE.

SN 4770. Cal. 9mm. 4″ bbl with Imperial proofs on sides and full SN on bottom. 1912 date above chamber. Crown/”ERFURT” on center toggle link. Imperial proofs on toggle assembly and right receiver. All numbers are matching down to firing pin, including checkered walnut grips, and orig matching mag. “B.10.R.1.9.” (Bavarian 10th Infantry Regiment, Company 1, weapon #9) unit marked on front strap. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 93% orig blue that is corroding to brown on right side of bbl and grip straps. Orig straw is 85% with scattered corrosion. Grips are lightly worn and oil soaked. Bore is worn with frosting. Mechanics are fine.
