*◊ EXCEPTIONAL WAFFENFABRIK/BERN 1906/24 SWISS LUGER.

SN 19710. Cal. 7.65 Para. 4-3/4″ bbl with Swiss proof and full SN on bottom. Waffenfabrik/Bern on center toggle link. Cross/M on left receiver. Swiss Cross proof on right receiver. Numbered parts are matching, including the wide border checkered walnut grips. “P” on back of frame. “P55” on front of trigger guard indicating release from service in 1955. Swiss proofed round plastic bottom mag. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 98% orig bright blue and straw, with very little wear consisting of light silvering on sharp edges and corners. Grips are sharp and retain orig color. Bore is bright and sharp. There is a small crack in the back of the frame above the lanyard loop that appears to have been caused by stamping the “P” in 1955, which was then finished with the date on the trigger guard.
