Capped full pistol grip buttstock checkered in two point diamond pattern is flame grained American walnut with 14-1/4″ LOP over Winchester checkered HRBP. Forearm checkered in diamond pattern. Receiver is beautifully scroll and game scene engraved throughout, left side with spaniel and quail in multi-color gold inlays and signed “Cargnel”. Top of frame fully scroll engraved with gold borders and multi-color gold inlaid bust of spaniel, right side scroll engraved with gold inlaid quail and multi-color gold inlaid spaniel surrounded by gold line work. Bbl lightly engraved at breech and muzzle with gold band. Trigger guard with gold line work and SN inlaid in gold. WEIGHT: 6 lbs. 8 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine, retains virtually all of is custom finish to both wood and metal. Mechanics are excellent, brilliant shiny bore.
