AUSTRIAN ART NOUVEAU LAMP.Austrian art nouveau lamp has cast bronze figural lamp base depicts eagle perched on log with wings spread. Tree trunk rises behind eagle to support leaf and berry decorated shade ring with 2 socket cluster. Signed on base near cord “Shcmidt-Felling”. Base is finished in dark brown patina and supports a Loetz mushroom shade with cobalt blue section covering top of shade and dripping down to lip with gold iridescent drag loop pattern between each cobalt drip. Each drag loop area is further decorated with raised iridescent oil spots. Unsigned. SIZE: Shade 10-1/2″ dia x 9-1/2″ fitter. Lamp 18″ t. CONDITION: Shade has some minor roughness to inside lip of fitter otherwise very good to excellent.
