AUSTRIAN CHANDELIER.Austrian chandelier (circa 1910) has stylized floral ceiling cap with strap arms descending to support the hammered and decorated ring of chandelier. Second smaller hammered ring gathers straps at center, large hammered ring is decorated with repose stylized flowers as well as applied stylized flowers with wire stems. Repose flowers surround a frame holding 2 peach colored glass chunk jewels. Chandelier has 4 hammered shade holders suspended from side and another shade holder suspended from a long rod descending from ceiling. Chandelier is completed with 5 Pallme Konig shades with red applied threads in a pulled feather design descending from fitter against a frosted slightly iridescent background. Bottom point of shade is decorated with green lightly iridescent oil spots. Unsigned. SIZE: 47-1/2″ from ceiling to bottom of shades. CONDITION: Chandelier is very good with some discoloration to bronze chandelier frame consistent with age. Shades have some roughness to fitter rim otherwise very good to excellent. 49778-3 (3,000-5,000) – Lot 1453
