SN 1366. Cal 9mm. 4″ bbl with four digit serial number on bottom. 1920 above chamber. “S” (Simson) on center toggle flank. Eagle/6 proofs on right receiver. Serial numbers on gun are matching down to firing pin. Most parts have Simson Eagle/6 proofs. Checkered walnut grips have four digit matching serial numbers on backs. Simson Eagle/6 proofed aluminum bottom magazine with numbers that do not match. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Fine retaining 70% arsenal blue that is fading from corrosion overall. 30% straw is still visible. Grips are lightly worn and oil soaked with chips and small dents to checkering. Bore is worn with light pitting. Magazine has little wear and has light pitting on bottom. Mechanics are fine. 49829-37 BWS (2,000-4,000) C&R – Lot 1446
