HANDEL REVERSE PAINTED TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has reverse painted shade with alternating black and brown vertical lines descending from the aperture leading to a band with black background decorated with pink and red flowers encircling the border with colorful blue parrots flying among the flowers. Signed on the inside lip “Handel 6731”. Shade rests on a Handel base with turned stem and fleur de lis heat cap. Base is finished in gold and is signed on the underside with applied cloth tag “Handel”. SIZE: Shade 18″ dia. Lamp 23″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base has small crack in the stem, otherwise good. Rewired with contemporary plastic cord. 43784-23 (4,500-6,500) – Lot 1444
