SN 21922. 2-1/2″ bbl, “Colt” in large script on bbl, frame and backstrap are inscribed “George Hawkes 19th March 1876 from George H. Saxon FT Baker 88 Fleet St. London”. 4) Cal. .41 RF. SN 37528. 2-1/2″ bbl, “Colt” in large script on bbl, regular sights, rosewood grips. 5) Cal. .41 RF. SN 38145. 2-1/2″ bbl, “Colt” in large script on bbl, rosewood grips. PROVENANCE: The Dr. Robert G. Cox Estate Collection. CONDITION: 1) Bbl and frame is 80% bright orig nickel. Hammer and trigger are bright fire blue. Rosewood grips are in very good condition. Bore is good. 2) Bbl has brown patina with light pitting. Frame has traces of silver balance is brass. Grips are in very good condition. Bore is poor. 3) Bbl has oxidation and finish has been cleaned. Brass is in near excellent condition. Grips are good with orig finish. 4) 80% bright orig nickel on bbl and frame. Rosewood grips are in good condition with orig finish. Bore is fair. 5) Bbl is mostly bare metal with sharp bbl address. Frame has 50% nickel plating. Grips are in good condition.
