Rare Handel table lamp has reverse painted aquarium shade with green, yellow, brown and red aquatic vegetation with yellow and green fish swimming among the vegetation. Shade is signed on the inside lip “Handel” and numbered as well as stamped “Handel” on the metal aperture ring. Shade rests on original Handel mermaid base with rich brown patina and three socket cluster. Base is finished with its original Handel fleur de lis heat cap. Signed on the underside with applied cloth tag “Handel”. SIZE: Shade 15-1/4″ at widest. Lamp 22-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent.
