NEPHRITE JADE AND RUSSIAN SILVER SEAL HOLDER.

Russian silver seal holder has cylindrical nephrite jade handle with Russian silver grapevines and clusters encircling the top and bottom of handle, with a silver frog clinging to the side of the handle. The silver top is set with a round cabochon garnet and the frogs eyes are also cabochon garnets. Stamped on all three separate silver components of the piece including the underside, the top and the frog with Russian hallmarks, maker’s mark “IP”, as well as St. Moscow Assayers Stamp “84” indicating the piece was made in Moscow between 1908 and 1926.
