HANDEL DAFFODIL TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has reverse painted shade with bright yellow daffodils with shaded green leaves. The shade is also painted with small red flowers with yellow centers peeking from behind the daffodil leaves. All set against a shaded black and green background. The exterior of the shade is finished in chipped ice. Shade is signed on the inside rim “7122 Handel” and artist initials. The shade rests on a Handel base with urn shaped body with raised decorative band surrounding the shoulder. The base is complete with a 3-socket cluster and fleur de lis cap. Base is signed on the underside with impressed script signature “Handel”. SIZE: Shade is 17-3/4″ dia. Lamp is 24″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Base is very good to excellent with some minor wear and discoloration to finish, rewired with contemporary plastic cord. 1101-162 (8,500-11,500) – Lot 1439
