HESTER BATEMAN STERLING SILVER TEAPOT.

Early Hester Bateman teapot has repousse flowers and scrolls surrounding a central cartouche which is engraved with an “H” on the front of the teapot, while the cartouche on the back is not engraved. There is matching repousse design on the spout as well as the hinged lid. The teapot is finished with a carved wooden handle and finial. Marked on the underside with hallmarks “HB” a rearing lion, letter “F” within a shield, as well as a king with crown within a shield. SIZE: 6″ t.
