MOORISH LEADED GLASS CHANDELIER.

Chandelier has cast bronze ceiling cap with 4 bronze arms with Moorish pattern of spiraled wires creating a reticulated pattern within each of the arms. Lower section of chandelier has matching Moorish decorated arms which house an inverted dome leaded glass shade. Shade has a band of pink, white and yellow striated flowers against a translucent green as well as green confetti glass leaf background giving way to an amber shading to clear geometric ground at bottom. Shade is overlaid with cast bronze tree limbs in each of the 4 panels. Bottom of ceiling cap as well as bottom of chandelier are finished with an openwork finial. Cap and lower chandelier are connected by 4 heavy link bronze chains. Chandelier is illuminated by single socket which extends from cylindrical rod from ceiling cap. Bronze has a dark brown patina with green highlights. Unsigned. SIZE: 36″ from ceiling to tip of finial. CONDITION: Metal is very good to excellent with some wear and discoloration to patina.
