*TRULY EXCEPTIONAL NEAR MINT PARKER VH 12 GA SHOTGUN.SN 228118. Cal. 12 ga. 30″ bbls. 2-3/4″ chambers. No. 1-1/2 frame. Full length matted top rib with steel front bead. Dbl triggers, extractor, auto safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock with nickel shield checkered in two-point pattern with 14-1/4″ LOP over Parker Brothers DHBP. Splinter forearm with Deely release and steel tip checkered in double diamond pattern. Receiver is Zig-zag border engraved and marked Parker Bros. on sides. Drop at comb 1-3/4. Drop at heel 2-15/16. Bore diameter: Right .731, Left .729. Bore restriction: Right bbl .027 (Mod), Left bbl .035 (Full). Wall thickness: Right bbl .029, Left bbl .026. Weight: 7 lbs. 3 oz. CONDITION: Extraordinarily fine, near mint and likely test fired only. Bbls retain nearly all of their orig Parker rust blued finish. Buttstock and forearm are near mint with only very minor handling marks and retain nearly all of their orig finish, checkering is crisp. Trigger guard with approximately 90%+ orig blued finish showing only some flaking on bow from handling, not from use. Forearm iron retains about all of its orig case color, starting to tone on release, bold and vivid on tip. Receiver retains virtually all of its bold orig case color with only minor toning on top tang and fences. Breech end of bbls still showing orig polish marks and breech face with extractor scrapes and no perceptible shell ring present. A perfect Parker to own and use to judge the originality of others by.
