HUBLEY LINDY CAST IRON AIRPLANE WITH REAR WHEEL GEAR DRIVE.

A great iron plane, enameled in light blue with large raised lettering “LINDY” on the wing. When toy is pulled along the floor by the child, by means of a geared rear wheel, the propeller would spin & the plane would be ready to take off. The cast wing is brass and not iron, and more than likely, it has been replaced at some point in time. SIZE: Approx 10-1/4″ wing span. CONDITION: As stated above, plane appears to have overall paint restoration, repair at wheel strut as well as fastening clip on underside of wing. 1-14553 (200-400) – Lot 1424
