SHARPS MODEL 1874 SPORTING RIFLE. SN 162343. Cal. .40-70 Bottleneck, 30″ oct. bbl. Sights have been modified and the large buck horn added to the rear and a thin blade with bead to the front. CONDITION: Covered with dried grease mixed with surface rust but metal appears to be fairly smooth. Wood shows heavy scratches and some chipping with vice marks at the wrist.
