*◊ VERY FINE WORLD WAR I GERMAN DWM 1917 NAVY LUGER.

SN 271A. Cal. 9mm. 6″ bbl with blue finish overall with “1917” chamber date and “DWM” in script on toggle. 2-pc walnut checkered grips. Wood base bright steel magazine. Slide adjustable 200 meter Navy rear sight at rear of toggle. Serial numbered in the A Series. Left forward portion of frame dated “1917” as is left side of front sight base. Very nice crown M Navy markings on left side of chamber. PROVENANCE: The Friedrich-Wilhelm Dauphin Collection, Germany. CONDITION: Very fine overall, with most period rust blue finish remaining. Matching numbers throughout with the exception of magazine and unnumbered grips. A large amount of straw finish remains on lever, trigger and extractor.
